    Small family owned business. The staff was very diverse and welcoming. It had that southern hospitality vibe. Each meal comes with three (yes 3!) sides. I ordered the oxtails with rice, collard greens, and yams. The oxtails had so much meat on them. They were cooked, and seasoned to perfection. They also came with the perfect amount of gravy smothered over them. You get big hearty portions that will leave you with enough leftovers for later. My partner ordered the smothered pork chops. The pork chops were full sized, thick, and they give you three of them :0 (wow). Many places I have eaten at that called themselves a "soul food" restaurant, because they served fried chicken, and oxtails with no meat were pure disappointments. I leave the establishment hungry, and upset that I wasted my money. But not at this place. This place is a true soul food spot, from the menu selections, and the taste.

    I get their catfish dinner everytime and it always hits just as good as the first time ! April and Tunie are the ONLY ones who provided great hospitality and remained attentive which I appreciate 100%. I do wish dessert options were available or even acknowledged but overall this place has some amazing soul food !!!!

    Popped into EllaEm's this past weekend after seeing IG/Tictoc raved reviews. We order smothered pork chops and wings & waffles. Food was just ok. My hubby loved his pork chops.(He's a "Mikey")..I thought they tasted weird, I'm not really a gravy covered pork chops person. His sides looked ok. (See photos). Service was excellent! Very attentive and responsive. Small restaurant that filled up pretty quickly. It's surely a neighborhood favorite.

    Everything about this spot is above a 10. Quaint and awesome. The food impressed the hell out of me. The oxtails were off the chart. The gravy was really tasty. Greens, potato salad and the red beans and rice, on the money. My friend loved the catfish dinner to the max. Best soul food in Vegas this far. And the service team were very friendly and attentive. I will return to this great establishment Thank you
